What is the favourite job you’ve worked on at Carty Homes and why?
After 25 years working at Carty it’s hard to pick just one! My two standouts would be firstly Kintore street, Wahroonga as it was a beautiful home with the main brief being a home for a growing family and to look like it had been there for 100 years. I can say we achieved both of these things, which I was proud of, especially since the clients were such a pleasure to deal with and really appreciated the the efforts we put in.
Secondly, is Bronte Road, Bronte which was another great family home. Due to the location there were some challenges like excavating into the side of a hill that was half sand and half rock! Once again these clients were extremely nice to deal with, appreciative of the work we did and very happy with the outcome
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Spending time with the family, running, travelling, driving and listening to music
What is one of your bucket list items?
I went to Africa when I was single and I would love to go back and go on safari as a family
If you could make your own job title what would it be?
